‘Winning England’ – series of events
Join us across England for our ‘Winning England’ events in Dagenham, Yorkshire, Staffordshire and Humberside, with more to be announced soon.

We won’t get a Labour government unless Labour can win a string of seats outside the major cities. In former industrial towns, seaside communities and hard pressed rural areas, Labour has been losing support amongst voters who question whether we stand for people like them. They are also more likely to say they are English than British, and played a hugely significant role in Britain voting to Leave the EU.

Join local Labour MPs and councillors, the English Labour Network director John Denham and Labour members to answer the following questions:

  • How can we reflect the strong sense of attachment so many people have to place and nation?
  • What policies come top of voters’ concerns in these areas?
  • How do we campaign effectively and show Labour stands for their interests?

This summer, millions of people shared the success of England’s football team now. Now is the time to set out a shared vision of an England that works for the common good.
